Which of these 2 is the better mario villain?

On one hand, Bowser has probably laid out more dastardly plans... and spikes are neat. Alas, his plans always seem to fail. As for Wario, having read that comic years back in Nintendo Power about how Mario used to bully him, I feel for Wario's plight and continue to hope he will show that red-hatted bastard what for!... but he has no spikes, which is sad.

Definitely Bowser.....unless he leaves an axe sitting right by the bridge. Otherwise I'm sure Bowser would whoop Wario.

Both of them are ridiculous and cartoony. Not to bash Mario, but I don't consider either to be great "villains".

Bowser is best. Wario is just annoyed at Mario's over-friendliness, and tendency to play the cowboy with the gun who chases Wario all the bad time. Bowser is all bad and trying to take over the Mushroom Kingdom and grabbing the princess and stuff.

what about that giant frog thing? it was like that spell from chrono trigger but in smb2/smusa. he was all die bitches! you're just another fly to me anyway!

yes wart. he is so hardcore he didnt need to have his castle in 8-4 or surrounded by tough airforce stages (that i tended to p-wing through) or even kidnap anyone. in fact, the stage before his castle 7-1 is even easier than 1-1.

now wario is just mario's post-bowser post-traumatic post disorder's projection of what he doesnt like about himself. he thinks that he's fat and so fat he could just push through blocks and what not. but perhaps it's better than giving himself bunny ears and remembering back when fireflowers actually meant something. one blast would zap anything except bowser or beetle baily. and bowser would be no more even after 5. compare that to mario's later years, back when his flower power needs natural male enhancement just to kill a boom boom (about 20) and killing bowser's kids took so much that it was more likely mario would defeat them with an mk2 friendship than burn their toes.

by the way, princess peach is the mother to bowser's kids isnt she? i mean that is why he was kidnapping her, right???

edit: and the motherhood issue is why peach was all tuff in smb2, but stepped away for smb3!!

yeah, sure he is greedy but through hius greed he does good stuff.
in warioland 1 he saved something for mario
in warioland 2 he.....bah, eh just wanted money in that one

in warioland 3 he saved an entire microworld
in warioland 4 he he saved a princess or soemthing

when has bowser EVER done anyhting good?

Of course Wario is a villain. He was created to be Mario's rival. However, he's recently gone the way of Donkey Kong and has become more of a playful rival than an outright enemy.

I suppose that's what happens when you give villains their own franchise.
