Re: New Gamepad Bug
I never needed to use it too. But now I have to, because diagonals do not work in games anymore (with my DS3 and MotionInJoy setup). I once could set the four directions and be done... not anymore. I have to set the diagonal for them to work in games with my ds3. Although with keyboard I still don't...

New Gamepad Bug
I have notices a bug that was not there before August 1.53 testbuild.
I have to set the Up+Left, Up+Right, etc... with a Gamepad to make them work.
Before I just set the Up,Dow,Left,Right and it was enough.
Tested with Earthworm Jim 1/2.

Re: Hi-Res Blurry
Moderator/Administrator: Can you please make the EDIT option available for little longer than 5 minutes. I have to mention that OpenGL is alot faster than Direct3d. I also use Simple X4 for best pixel ratio and sometimes Bilinear Filtering (which has almost no blur effect if the multiplier is big en...

Re: Hi-Res Blurry
gocha,
Try multipliers Simple x2 or x4 (x3 makes it blurry too).
Also in my experience the only fullscreen resolution that keep true aspect ratio is 1024x768,
because Snes vertical res is 512, and 1024 divides by it.
You can see it in any game that uses Hi-Res vertical lines for transparency.

Download the latest test build 13.08.2012 from here:
http://www.s9x-w32.de/dl/testbuilds/
The IRQ timing that makes certain games flicker is fixed (check in the change log).
Thank you OV2.

Fullscreen opening Menu bar jumps back to window mode.
When I set a real fullscreen resolution (1024x768) go fullscreen and hit Esc for the menu bar to appear
the emulator switches back to windows mode to show the menu bar.
Is there any way to fix this so the menu bar will appear in real fullscreen.
Thanks.

Re: Cheat Engine
gocha, MightyMo since changed a little his system. I have PM'ed him (in hope he will receive an email) to join us here. Besides that the test version is very slow compared to OV2's August 2012 1.53 build. Your new cheat system works good. The .cht files that snes9x saves lack the " " that ...

Re: Blargg's NTSC filter Scanlines.
As for the blargg issue: I can't see anything wrong with the scanlines. Thanks for replying. Please find a single color image and freeze it, you'll see that the the scanlines don't have same spacing between them. It depends on the size of the fullscreen or window size. I love blargg's NTSC filter b...

Re: Blargg's NTSC filter Scanlines.
I have tried fiddling with the AspectRatioBaseWidth value but it didn't correct the misalignment. OV2 try to find a game where it uses Hi-Res vertical lines for transparency you'll see they are not in alignment too. Also the standard Scanlines option are not aligned no matter what resolution or stre...

Blargg's NTSC filter Scanlines.
Is there any chance to disable the Blargg's NTSC filter scanlines? Snes9x stretches the image and the scanlines lose their proportion. The sega emualtor Kega Fusion has an NTSC filter but the scan lines can be turned On or Off (%). Kega also don't lose proportion no matter what resolution the fullsc...

Re: Cheat Engine
If Goldfinger is not the same thing as Game Genie and its not using the same source code....
I think its obsolete, Game Genie & Pro Action Replay will suffice.
But if somehow removing the Goldfinger support will hurt the Game Genie activity, then its a no no.

Hi-Res Blurry
Anyone knows why Snes9x blurres its Hi-Res images?
For example in "Seiken Densetsu 3" when the text shows up the image gets blurry like bilinear filtering is On.
Of course I compared it with bsnes, and bsnes remains sharp like the normal res image.
Thanks.

Sorry for the double post, it seems I can't edit my posts.
I appears that the Rom don't even load because the Save/Reset are not available under File->.
