Hi snes9x never seems to disable the screen saver? Sorry if this is a known issue, I'm using latest snes9x 1.53 64 bit version,

moved to tech support.

EDIT: I set my screen saver to go off after a minute, and it disabled it for me... I've tried finding a setting which disabled the Screen Saver in Snes9X and didn't find anything...

you running this in a window or full screen? also, know your hardware specs? (CPU, video card, RAM, etc)

It should disable the screensaver while the game is running and not paused.

define "paused.."

* alt-tab out of Snes9X or click another window?
* hit the pause button on your keyboard?
* pause the game if it has that feature (most do) by pressing the approprately mapped SNES button?
* clicking one of the menu options in Snes9X?

Paused as in emulation being paused. Can be through menu, through inactive window (if you have that enabled) or by pressing the corresponding hotkey.

This is a bug with the power management code used in this and several other emulators on NT5 and higher when a password is set on the screensaver
