ZIP support in the next Windows port
The next windows port(which will be released within a day or two) will have ZIP support like some of the other ports of Snes9x and like the upcomming version of ZSnes. I will also be releasing the source code, hoping that people will help eliminate bugs in the windows port.

Free sub-hosting
Snes9x.COM will be moving to a new (dedicated) server in a week or two, with the new server a lot of space will come available to us(and bandwidth). The sites which are currently going to be hosted on that server aren't even using half of the space. So to utilize the server more, I wanted to setup a hosting plan. Do you want your site hosted on Snes9x.COM something like yoursite.snes9x.com or www.snes9x.com/yoursite ? Then contact me, all I ask is that you put our banner(s) on top of your page(s)(no. of banners depends on the size of the site)... I only want quality sites, so you need to have your site online or be able to show your talents... What you'll get from me is a link from the snes9x.com site to your site... High profile and/or high trafic sites are no problem... Nothing illegal is allowed and I determin what's illegal or not... N64 emulators for example are perfectly legal in my book! So if this sounds like a golden deal, contact me...

Windows Update
If all goes well, a new version of the Windows port will be released soon, I will be updating the interpolation routines written by Kreed, these are now faster and will support 15-bit RGB display modes... Although I have not verified this, I also have a feeling that it will work on non-RGB modes(like BGR modes) used on some cards... Also, if all goes well, I'll add cheat-support too...

The new Windows port release 'date'
I've viewed several messages on the BBS which range from asking to (almost) demanding a new Windows port or atleast a release date. I do not mind the asking part, but some go a bit further, ohwell, it doesn't do them any good! Release dates will never be given, an indication on when may be given, and currently the indication seems to point to this weekend. This will only apply if there are no unforseen problems, like for example 'N' problems.

BBS back online =)
For all you BBS'ers out there, it's back online =) Post anything you like, exchange messages with the other Snes9x-fans =) Also, I'm still looking for (real) legal advice on my standpoint against the big 'N'.
