SRAM transfer between EX (iPhone) and GX (Wii)?

So, I play Earthbound on my breaks at work and recently discovered the joys of Wii homebrew hacking by promptly installing SNES9x GX. I immediately scraped up my Earthbound SRAM and any other associated files to play on the big screen while I'm at home. To my surprise, the file did not show up on the load screen despite it being on the SD card (which is a 4GB SDHC).

Now, I might just be ignorant and trying to do something I can't do, so let me know if that's the case. But, is it possible to transfer save states from EX to GX? I've seen SRAM files from zSnes work on 9x via a computer, but I've never done cross platform like this.

Any help you guys can be would be greatly appreciated :)

Yes, S-RAM files are meant to go from one SNES emulator to another, regardless of platform and/or OS. Of course, this depends on if said S-RAM(s) are within the proper directory...

...and named properly - most emulators use *.srm, but some use *.sav.

I didn't know some SNES emulators used *.sav .. I thought those were for NES and Nintendo handhelds in-game saves. coulda swore SNES was all *.srm

Hmm... I'm certain they are in the proper directory. I tried loading them on SNES9x for the computer as well as for the Wii. They wouldn't show up at all in the Wii version and on the PC it gave a checksum error. I have no problem loading it right from my phone, though.
