Secret of Mana slow downs in PAL-version

Hi there,

I am using Snes9x 1.53 on OSX 10.7.5 and can notice some strange effect with Secret of Mana. The NTSC-Version seems to work finde, but I see slowdowns in the PAL-Version.
When in disable "Synchronize" in the sound options, there are no slowdowns anymore, but I hear sound bugs.

In NTSC-Version there are no such problems.

Are there known issues with Snes9x and PAL-games?

Try the following settings. I had no issue with sound after this...note I am using Windows Vista here so I am not sure of what Apple's audio buffer length timings for OpenAL.
