HTC Evo 3D, hboot 1.4, CM7 alpha 3, using that wii remote on bluetooth thing for controls on Snes9X EX 1.4.7.1.

Anyway, I found a sound bug in Aero the Acro-Bat 2, when fighting Boris. About 10 seconds after the battle starts, the BGM fades and cuts out entirely (sound FX work fine however).

Since the same AtAB2 ROM on my Droid is the same as what's on my computer, here's my NSRT info:

Code: Select all

NSRT v3.3 - Nach's SNES ROM Tools

To get to the Boris battle easier, all you have to do is open the options and listen to music tracks 10, 15, 06, 08 -- in that order. (HINT: if you did it right, a Yippee! sound will be heard, in addition to track 08.) Then, start a new game; as soon as you get into Bell Castle Act 1, pause the game, and press L, R, A, and Down. This will send you to the level select.

Select Fort Redstar for the top option, and Boss Stage for the second option, and have at you.

**it should be noted that Snes9X v1.43 (which IIRC -IS- the codebase for Snes9X EX) for whinedows has the BGM play all the way through. Same with Snes9X v1.53 for whinedows.**

EDIT: it also happens in the Dr. Dis Industries Boss Stage as well.

Double EDIT: You may as well apply this to all stages in Aero the Acro-bat, since it even does this in Bell Castle Act 1.

Bumpage...

Just tried the latest Snes9X EX+ (that's right, EX+) on my Nexus 7 tablet and this bug no longer exists.

As an FYI, Snes9X EX+ is based off the latest codebase (v1.53, no idea if the latest testbuild is used or not), so be aware that you need an Android device spec'd around the same as a Evo 3D or Galaxy S2/S3 or better in order for it to run properly.
