Experiencing issues with 4 popular roms

Greetings there, I really enjoy this emulator however I'm experiencing some issues with the Earthworm Jim 2, Donkey Kong Country, Kirby's Dreamland 3 and Seiken Densetsu 3 roms.

1) Earthworm Jim 2:
This rom freezes every single time on the logo when starting the game, I tried downloading different versions of it, they all freeze 5-6 seconds into the game and I can't proceed.

2) Donkey Kong Country:
The game runs smoothly without any issues, however all backgrounds have scrambled graphics, with textures being all over the background like pieces of a puzzle being out of place. Those textures are part of the background, they have the same color, but they are all over making it really unattractive to look at or play with.

3) Seiken Densetsu 3 and Kirby's Dreamland 3:
Both game run ok as well, however I am experiencing a problem with the graphic filters: On Seiken Densetsu 3 whenever a dialog box pops up the image turns badly pixelated and as soon as the dialog box is removed, the graphic filter is back on and the game looks normally(usually use 2xSal in order to blur the pixels).

In Kirbys Dreamland 3 some levels look normal and the filter works fine, while some other levels are badly pixelated, it appears the filter doesn't apply to some specific levels and I am unsure why.

Can anyone help me out sort these issues please? I am using the latest version of the emulator of course 1.52 :)

This is a known issue and will be fixed in the next version - if you don't want to wait that long you can use the most recent testbuild from here

Sounds like you are using plain 1.52, this has been fixed in 1.52fix4.

SD3 and Kirby switch to Hi-Res in some parts. Not all filters support Hi-Res, so Snes9x will switch to whatever filter is selected in the Hi-Res filter box in the display settings during the Hi-Res parts.

Thank you very much for your replies! I will check out the new version as well as the display settings and in case my issue persists I will let you know. :)

edit: It worked, all games that had visual issues now work perfectly!
