AVI recording doesn't capture any audio

Specs:
Intel i5-3230M (Ivy Bridge)
HD 4000 (earlier version)
NVIDIA GeForce 620M
8GB RAM
Windows 7 SP1
Using xaudio2 mode, tried all 3 video modes to no avail.
This is with the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. The video capture is pretty much fine and has no issues
Full-frame uncompressed (which lags while playing) but no audio is captured. I'm not playing back a smv file btw
What's really weird is that it works on my other (older) PC which has an i3-2310 and HD 2000 with 4GB RAM (also Win7 SP1), but ONLY if I use directdraw mode.
