I can´t config my gamepad

Hi!
I am using snes9x on an android tv (Xiaomi TV) and it is impossible for me to configure the gamepad (Logitech precision), when I try to bind the gamepad controls and press some buttons on the gamepad it sends me to the TV menus (netflix, prime ,...) and exit snex9x
How can I make snex9x ignore tv controls via gamepad so I can override it with in game controls?
