Not working with Razer Kishi

when I connect the Kishi the app recognises it but when I try map it, it says I'm pressing buttons from device "virtual", this wouldn't be too much of an issue but it also completely ignores the dpad and joysticks so I can't play any games with it, does anyone know a fix?
