SRAM saving files but not loading in game

Hey guys

New to the emulator scene (showing my daughter's the classics if my day ), and we were playing super mario world and donkey Kong country last night

When I went to load the games this morning all progress was lost.

There's files saved in the Saves folder, but when I load up the games both say 0% progress and all it starts us fresh (no levels cleared )

I know I can save states, and will do that if it's the only way, but I prefer to play the games the way I used to (beating levels, using save points in RPGs, etc )!

Any suggestions?

Cheers :)

First, if you haven't explicitly defined a save path, please do so. This helps prevent the program from looking in the wrong location if it's started in a nonstandard way (such as by a file association with the working directory set to the file location).

I'd also recommend making sure "Auto-Save S-RAM" is enabled, and test it by making an in-game save and making sure the timestamp on the .srm file updates accordingly in the time you chose.

Both options can be set in Emulation -> Settings.
