I've been playing SMW with a steam controller, and I noticed the game was running slowly. I enabled frame skipping to see if that was the issue, and it did in fact make it run at a normal speed. I enabled the Show Framerate option too and found that while the fps counter told me it was running at 50fps, the number below it would drop from the 40/50 to 50/50 range to the 1/50 to 20/50 range. I found that using alt+tab to go in and out of the game fixed the issue, but it happened repeatedly. I've messed around with some of the settings, but none of them seem to have helped any.

The only other game I've played was Mario Paint, which didn't seem to have any problems similar to this one. Thanks for any help!
