Certain files on my computer now have the SNES9x logo

In some of my files, their blank logo has been changed to the SNES9x logo, and while they retain their original file type (.bin, .DAT) it is called a "SNES9x ROM". I tried deleting SNES9x but that didn't work. What can I do to revert this change?
