Snes9x.com

hey guys. this is my first post. I just downloaded Snes9x and got Super Metroid. At the moment, I am having issues with setting up my PS3 controller to work. I have setup the DS3 tool correctly( followed all instructions etc) but I have literally no idea how to get it to work within the emulator. the controller works find. I can use it for steam games etc, but how I get it to be recognized by the emulator? everytime I plug it in and try use it for the emulated game it does nothing.

TL;DR: Need help getting PS3 controller to work in the Snes9x emulator.

it works the same as any other controller. have you read the docs and gone through the Input->Input Configuration... dialog?

I've already done that. every button works, aside from the analog sticks. I've even played a game recently with the controller, though, once again, the analog sticks were not working.

I had a similar issue. I kept having control issues in almost every emulator. I switched to a Logitech F310 and its worked flawlessly.
