the latest snes9x 1.53 not support to new version PC gamepad.......I'm struggle to configure my new gamepad for the latest emulator.

I am not sure why 1.53 wouldn't support a modern game pad on Windows, but I do know that isn't the latest Snes9x build. 1.62.3 is. What is the brand/model game pad you're using, and what version of Windows?

Sorry, just found out tjat I'm usinf the latest 1.62.3- as well, and the link below is the version of gampad I used, it seems like it got conflicted with SNES9x setting. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304968647150

if you have Steam (or another application which grabs controller input) running in the background, that could be your issue.
