I found a hidden box in forest maze of super mario rpg that contained nothing

when i hit it it said something

No, it's for real. In the first set of the pipe-logs in the forest maze, go down each and every one of them and jump around the holes. I believe it'd be in the back corner of one of the holes, near that blotch of light on the ground. I believe there'll be no enemies in this particular hole.

And yes, it says YOU MISSED!.
