So in the input settings for diagonal configurations. My question is why though. It's the only emulator I know that does this and games seems to work just fine if all four points on the D-pad are assigned.

Settings these diagonal motions can be tricky it really seems to depend on the controller you're using

you should only use this if you're using an 8-way controller; these are rare.
