Adding custom music to the menu.

Hello all!
I have a question about the audio files used for the Snes9x Euphoria: what is the way to add custom music playlist on the main menu, I tried MP3 files into the music.zip file, but all I get is nothing but silence from the track when it is selected (it shows the music track title but no sound)
If anyone could tell me what I would have to do for my music files to work while on the menu screen will be appreciated. thank you.
