2. post the full path to snes9x (presumably "D:\Games\Emulator stuff\Emulators\SNES9x")
3. post the defined save path as showin in Emulation -> Settings...

sounds like you've hit the Relm Sketch bug.

hq4x is likely pushing it, given that historically Intel's Linux video drivers haven't been the best.

make sure you define a save path in options, and that normal users can write to that location.

"3rd party gamepad" - which one (make/model)? How is it connected (USB/Bluetooth)?

"mobile" - what make, model, and OS version?

Super Mario RPG uses a specialized coprocessor. If the 3DS version of Snes9X doesn't support that, it won't work.

all you have to do is rename the srm to match, nothing more. if that's not working, either:

• you typoed something, or
• the srm you renamed isn't actually the one you've been using (can happen if the path isn't defined) - do a full search for *.srm and see if it's actually in a different location.

what version of snes9x are you referring to?
