Lucent.. Winmodem?

You might want to give Linspire or Freespire a try. This'll work with Lucent winmodems (or at least Linspire 4.9.x did anyway.)

But in general, almost any Linux distro will not work with winmodems. You're better off trying to find a hardware based modem, or getting broadband.

Me, Unless they fix things to where you can get a game bundled with your Wii (be it your choice or otherwise, and not that Wii sports crap), I won't get one for a little while.

IIRC 2.0 is about as impregnable as Linux atm.

I'd get either one, as it seems like they're both supported, yet I'd recommend 1.4RC1, since it's got the much sought-after SDD-1 emulation.

IIRC, ZSnes now has SDD-1 support in the emulator. Nab the latest version here.
PS: Just so ya know, it's ZSnes, not znes.
