You can edit snes9x.conf and add a SuperFXClockMultiplier entry in the [Hack] section and set it to the speed percentage. 100% is default.

What do you have configured for player 2? Can you post your .conf file?

It's also always a good idea to post what version and port of s9x you are using.

I'm not sure how your tool sets associations and icons. S9x only registers its own progid for use in the open with list. You can try the most recent testbuild, I've changed it to register its icon with full path.

Got to Emulation->Settings and set a rewind buffer size - by default it is 0MB and thus disabled.

This will currently only work if you enable "emulated fullscreen", in this mode s9x will fill the screen its main window is currently on. Otherwise s9x will always use the main monitor.

From the error message it looks like you tried to download the shader as a html file.
Get the whole common-shaders repository from here:
https://github.com/libretro/common-shad ... master.zip

Then try to load it from the extracted folrder (crt\shaders\crt-easymode.cg)
