Re: Stutter after using Turbo hotkey (OpenGL, Windows 10 v18
D3D switches to fullscreen mode when the emulate fullscreen checkbox is not set. OGL creates a topmost window that spans the whole screen (and changes the display resolution before that) - I don't know of any other way to switch to exclusive fullscreen with opengl. Ah okay, thanks both of you for e...

Re: Stutter after using Turbo hotkey (OpenGL, Windows 10 v18
Why is there no support for a Fullscreen Exclusive display mode? It'd be great to completely avoid the DWM in Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10... can the UI not render in that kind of display mode?

Re: Snes9x Idea: Disable Background Input for hotkeys.
Hotkeys would be anything that doesn't pertain to playing the running game. ie: everything in the 4-page Hotkeys UI.

Snes9x Idea: Disable Background Input for hotkeys.
It's annoying being unable to use background input without accidentally triggering hotkeys if you were to say, attempt to chat with someone on Discord for example.

Stutter after using Turbo hotkey (OpenGL, Windows 10 v1809)
If I'm using OpenGL for the display output, pressing the Turbo button (Tab) and then releasing it to return to normal speed will result in the game (Zelda: A Link to the Past) becoming very choppy. The choppiness stops if I toggle the Menu Bar on and/or off with Escape. I'd use Direct3D but seemingl...

My bad, it's exclusively a Fullscreen Exclusive issue.

Horrible display lag
Initially I thought this was my new ASUS PG258Q display lagging for some unknown reason, but after reverting to my Samsung P2350 the problem persists in the latest Snes9x for Windows x64. I get no perceptible delay between me pressing a button on my gamepad and the game responding to it on the scree...

Double click app on taskbar to shrink doesn't pause emulatio
Double clicking the emulator program instance on the Taskbar to minimize the program doesn't cause the emulator to pause the emulation. Clicking the minimize button or clicking another application window (or the desktop etc.) to remove focus from the emulator will correctly pause emulation. Input > ...

v1.55 Canceling video configuration switches to OpenGL
If I open the configuration panel, change to DirectX and click OK and then later (even after a restart of the application) open the Video Configuration and hit Cancel, it changes to & applies OpenGL.

Re: Audio issue while minimized (v1.54.1 Windows)
Awesome stuff, I can confirm this is fixed in the newly released v1.55. Should the pinned topic be updated to mention v1.55's release (it currently mentions v1.53)?

Audio issue while minimized (v1.54.1 Windows)
While minimized the audio becomes all crackly, if I instead place the program in the background/out of focus than everything is just as if it was still in focus/good sounding. I tried changing Windows to treat background programs with the same priority as foreground programs but the issue with minim...

huh? :? I always thought the SNES's cpu would go up to 3.50MHz or so, lowest clock speed is like 1.025MHz, IIRC. The SA-1 allowed it to go up to ~10MHz, but only on certain games. the Super FX allowed it to go up to ~21MHz. Also, I've played Zelda ALttP on a real SNES, and I can't ever remember a t...
