Re: Functions against PAL juddering

BTW, it's called NTSC.

I guess a developer could implement your suggestion. There's already graphical interpolation filters, so maybe a temporal interpolation filter could be made.

EDIT: hmm, have you tried the NTSC filter ? It might be able to convert your PAL games to 60 Hz

It seems in snes9x 1.52 the sound code was reworked. From the snes9x 1.52 change log: - Replaced APU emulation cores (SPC700 and S-DSP) with ones provided by Blargg's SNES_SPC library. This renders savestates incompatible with older versions. (BearOso, zones) (...) - Win32: Reworked settings dialogu...

Suggestion regarding Windows builds

I've noticed that in the latest snes9x release (1.53), the readme and license .txt files are not in DOS/Windows text format, but in Unix format. As a consequence, when they are opened in Notepad -- which is the default Windows behaviour for opening .txt files -- the newlines are garbled: http://i.im...

Lovely spam, wonderful spam !
Sometimes, the stuff they post is so bad it's funny.
Now, I won't quote any of it, because that would defeat the purpose of this thread.

Re: Help

I was watching someone using this emulator. I liked it features. however i can not get one of the features that they used to work. they would push a button to select a save-state and all the save-states would show up with a screen-shot of where they save-stated. I was wondering how to do this? I th...

I don't know about any gamma ramp code, but I find the NTSC filter very nice. It makes the game look like it does on a real TV.

Mac version system requirements

I was wondering what the system requirements are for the Mac port ? There are not mentioned anywhere. On 10.2 the last version I managed to run was v1.51, because as of 1.52 the .dmg archives won't open anymore (Apple broke backward compatibility in the archiver program at some point). If 10.2 is st...
