Re: Deleting Snes9x registry entries?
you can use the patch available here. keep in mind, if you're not using the 10-09-2012 testbuild or newer, the issue will continue to recur.

Re: Anyone want to play with a friend? Here's How....
Over the past year i have been playing SSF2: The New Challengers. I recently came up upon many topics (not all on this website) about how to play 2 player. This is quite easy. Open SNES9X go to the menu bar and select Input ⯠Input Config. You can change Player 1s Controls. On the top you can cha...

more details, less exclamation points.
- what version of Windows?
- where is snes9x located?
- are you running it from within the download archive, or did you extract it?
- did you download snes9x from a reputable source (i.e. this website or OV2's testbuilds site)?

Re: d3dx9_38.dll errors during launch, nothing helping
sfc /scannow, reboot, reinstall the dx packages in the thread you referenced, reboot, try snes9x again.
if you're still having problems, either it's a pebmac or Windows is hosed. if it's the former, pay someone to fix it. if it's the latter, backup, dump, and reload.

just downloaded it and took a look through - everything else in "music.zip" is an spc, so that's likely the only format it supports.

Request for OV2: Testbuilds Sticky
OV2, if you have the time and inclination, it would be great to have a dedicated thread for your testbuilds with mention of any UX changes. this was prompted by the new testbuild you posted on your site, without any mention here. for the record, OV2 posts testbuilds here , and includes a full change...

Re: Save Problems. Please help!
if you're running it from within a RAR file, you're making two major mistakes. 1. you didn't get it from an official source 2. you're running it from within an archive, which means it gets unpacked into a temp directory when you run it. all of your save files are being written to that temp directory...

not without using third-party scripting (see here to start digging down the rabbit hole).

shift+right click on zip file, choose "Open with > Choose another app." check the "always use" box to make the setting stick.

Snes9X EX support
If you have an issue with Snes9X EX for iOS or Android, you're better off contacting the developer, Robert Broglia directly, as he hasn't logged into this forum in over three years. The main Snes9X developers are not involved in Snes9X EX.

the two polygons comprising the display aren't lined up properly.
if you don't have the latest drivers for you video card, update them. besides that, you can try using OpenGL instead of Direct3D.

Re: Save game does not work from V1.36
seems like you're trying to load the save directly instead of a ROM.
anyway, battery (in-game) saves (*.srm) will work just fine, as long as they're in the right place. save states will not.

crappy audio chipset drivers are crappy. see if updated drivers are available (if not from the soundcard vendor, then directly from CMedia).
