Unfortunately Snes9x EX is a little sluggish on my current phone. I have a Motorola Backflip, which only has an ARM11/ARMv6 CPU in it. I have a port of CyanogenMod 6 installed on it and am overclocking it to 691MHz from 528MHz, which does help a bit. However it seems like SNesoid does work just a b...

Sounds reasonable to me. To try uninstalling the drivers for the gamepad completely, pull up the Device Manager and right-click on the entry for the gamepad itself and select 'Uninstall'. (If it doesn't specifically have the name of your gamepad and instead says HID or something like that, DON'T DO ...

Online SNES9x sucks because it's not a priority. That's probably not going to change any time soon. There's too much work that has to be done to get functional netplay working.

Ah, yeah, if other USB devices are having similar troubles, I don't think anything is going to help much besides replacing hardware. Sorry. :(

I'm not sure how the bluetooth stack works - but one thing to try is using a separate app to sync up with the wiimotes. Try getting the 'Wiimote Controller' app off the market and see if that works. If not, there may be an issue with your phone instead...

This is a -great- idea. It is, however, one best suited to a branch (or patch). How easy is it to tweak the GUI, O wonderful devs?

So the controller -does- work on games besides SNES9x? From the behavior you're describing (the 'disconnected' and 'connected' sounds chiming multiple times) it sounds like either the controller uses some strange setup with the drivers or it's starting to die. If it works properly in other games, I'...

First off, make sure 'SNES Joypad(s)' is selected in the 'Input' menu. Then, go into the Input Configuration screen, select Joypad #1 in the Controller pull-down menu, and make sure the 'Enabled' checkbox is checked. Double-check your keybindings while you're there too. To see if SNES9x is seeing yo...

I am starting to suspect that your problem is with the gamepad, not the software. If JoyToKey can't pick up that you have a gamepad, it's possible that SNES9x can't find it either for the same reason - especially since you're saying that JoyToKey -did- work that one time. Have you tried using the ga...

I know this is a rather odd question but is there anything used by snes9x core that I can temporarily dealloc when emulation is paused, and then reallocate without affecting the currently running game? Thanks.. Probably not. The state of the game involves all of the memory used by it and where in t...

Rakashazi Bless You. Someone finally released an SNES emu for IOS thats about 90% compatible with the wireless classic controller that I have. Im going to do a vid on youtube later to show you. If its possible to get the analog sticks working, Id be extatic. For now tho, im just hyped. Vid will be ...

If it's an issue that the dev team already knows about (like the button mapping not working o...

Re: Snes9x and iPad

Hello to everyone! The emulator works like a sharm on my iPad but I'd like know how can I change ROMs (if so) without closing the application. Cheers, Before you load a ROM, look in the Options menu for the Key Config option. If you change the hardware button from Exit to Open Menu, that might fix ...

This is a common issue with cheap keyboards. You don't necessarily have to bind L and R to the same key - you just have to bind them to keys that don't conflict with each other. Try using homerow keys (ASDFJKL) as most keyboards will allow you to press these simultaneously. Barring that, try bindin...

Try using a regular SD card (2GB or less).

Thanks for being patient with me. Some do and some don't and the ones that do still don't do anything even after I set them. Any more advice on what to do will be most helpful again. Thanks! Strange. This sounds like the same issue others have had with the Logitech gamepads. We unfortunately don't ...
