Sprint Epic Touch 4G (Sprint Branded Galaxy SII) crash

Post by cuzza40 »

Bit of an Android newbie here, but I seem to be having a crash issue with SNES9X EX on my new Sprint branded Galaxy SII. It runs like a dream for a few minutes, but then at random points, it simply cuts to a black screen before returning to the home screen, SNES9X having been completely shut down. I've tried multiple versions (1.4, 1.4.3), and tried both with and without the GPU Sync Hack enabled, and I'm no closer to a solution. Is anyone else having the same problem, or does anyone have any suggestions for what the issue might be?

Well, it's disappointing, because I don't want to give a dime to SNES emulators in the marketplace which are stealing code, but it appears I have no choice. I need an emulator that works.

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce any random crashes on my Droid or Xoom. Can you install aLogcat from the Market and send me your phone's system log directly after it happens?
