I'm playing Mario Paint and I use my mouse for it, which works just fine, but an issue I have is that I can't select any of the options outside of the game (file, emulation, input, sound) and in order to exit, I have to do task manager. Is there a way to get past this so I don't have to do task manager every time I want to go to a different page on my browser or want to close the emulator?

You can press alt-tab to switch to other applications, or simply press alt to focus the menu, then you can navigate with the mouse again.
