Huge problem with input lag on PS3 CFW

So i installed this emulator on my PS3 today but the input lag is so big i don't feel like playing platformers like Super Mario, DK, Metroid etc. It's literally making me miss jumps and fall to my death and it even makes me dizzy sometimes
The thing is, i have a NES emulator on there aswell without the same problem. I play the Mini Snes Classic on the same TV without the input lag problems..
So what is the problem? I've tried googleing but haven't found any solution. I tried fiddleing around with different shaders and graphic settings in the Snes9 settings but nothing works...
Does anybody else have this problem?
