2nd controller set up, first one stop responding

I've set up two controllers in Snes9x (a ds4 controller & an xbox one).
When only the ds4 controller was set up, it worked flawlessly.
Now that I've added the xbox controller, the ds4 controller stopped working. But, I can still set it up perfectly fine in the settings.
I've tried the x86 and x64 versions and both have the same bug.
