Snes9x.com

I am using snes9x ex+ on an unrooted samsung galaxy s6 edge. I previously had no issues but today for some reason when i tried to load a game from storage/emulated i got a cannot open directory permission denied error. I checked settings and snes9x does have permission to access storage so I am at a loss.

Help and advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Update: The problem has been resolved! Clicking on the middle of the address bar brought me back to the normal home directory from which I could locate and load my rom, apparently this is a problem in Android 7.0. As it turns out, something also happened to my rom (it was somehow deleted/missing) so I redownloaded the rom and renamed my save files. Everything is working perfectly now.
