Snes9x not recognizing USB controller on galaxy tab s

I bought a USB snes controller months ago and just plugged into my tab S using a USB to micro USB adapter and it worked perfectly. Then one day it stopped working and I even bought a new controller. Still not being recognized by snes9x, but the tablet is recognizing when it is connected and disconnected. Please help. Thank you.
