Can I use both direction button from D-pad and analog

I used to use ZNES for long time but now i prefer Snes9x's performance.
The problem is the direction button , it would be better to set direction button match with analog like ZNES
for example I want to use j(0)Up = j(0)POV UP
Can this emulator solve this problem?
