Snes9x.com

I am experiencing some issues while this playing this game. The game works well and looks perfect however certain times when i need to jump over things that are meant to be jumped over, Donkey kong or diddy kong are unable to make the jump due to lag issues i was told in emulator/roms for snes9x.

Any suggestions how to fix this? I have not experienced this in any other games.
