earthbound rom not working on LGG4

ive used snes9x for other games on this phone and they worked, and i used this rom on a different emulator and it worked fine. but for some reason the game wont even start up, i just get a black screen and nothing ever pops up. Ive tried different roms but nothings working. idk what im doing wrong, or i dont know if its a problem with the emulator.
