SNES9K Kirby Super Star Problem

I use SNES9K and each time when we load Kirby Super Star it says "If you are using a superscope, mouse, or multiplayer adapter, switch to controller." How do i make that go away i use keyboard and same with my friend so if there is anyway to fix this please tell me!
