Problems Using USB Super RetroPort

I am using the USB Super RetroPort with a authentic SNES Controller. Windows see's it. RetroArch can use it. Other emulators have no trouble seeing it. But Snes9x isn't working. When I try to assign buttons, none of them work. I have no other controllers connected.
