FF3 crashing on Samsung Galaxy Note 4

So Final Fantasy III crashes every 10 minutes on my Galaxy Note 4. I'm running the latest build of SNES9x EX+. This is rather unusual as I have been using SNES9x for a good 4 years now and this is the first game to constantly crash. Any ideas?
