Snes9x.com

I've been playing Super Metroid and A Link to the Past, and every few minutes my logitec gamepad stops registering with the games. I save my state, close Snes9x, reopen it, load the game and load the state. I will play for anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes but inevitably the program just stops registering the game pad. I tried to do simpler things like unplugging and plugging in the controller, resetting the ROM, switching the input number, but only restarting the program works. Anyone else have this problem or perhaps have a solution?

you have to restart snes9x because it like most Windows programs, it can't recognize controllers that have been connected while the program's running.

as for your actual issue, i see it occasionally when using the usb 3.0 port on my laptop. try using a native usb 2.0 port?
