Nvidia shield streaming

I am trying to resolve an issue with extreme slowdown when streaming to my shield.
The emulator runs great when played without streaming on the PC. However when I stream there is obscene lag. This is the only emulator with this problem. Any thoughts on what might be the problem would be greatly appreciated.
