Porting to new platform

Post by m0rph3us1987 »

Hey guys,

I am planning to port snes9x to a new platform, and I am pretty sure I will need some guidance during the process.
The porting docs say i should contact Ryan and/or Jerremy, but because I am new to the forum I can't send you a pm.

So my question: could one of you guys please contact me so we can discuss details? ;) Thanks in advance.

To be quite honest, I don't know if anyone has ever asked to port. They certainly don't ask me, and I don't see why they would. I am merely the forum admin, I do not control the site or the emulator. I've moved your topic to the public dev forum, I imagine the guys still working on Snes9x will know far better than I the details on this subject.

For porting to a new platform you should take a look at docs\porting.html in the source.
You can ask questions here or on github, we'll try to help if we can.
