SnesX keeps adding itself to the open with list!
I keep having to go into the registry to remove it from the list. Is there a way to prevent it from adding itself to the open with list?
Re: SnesX keeps adding itself to the open with list!
this was fixed in the 2012-09-12 testbuild; you can use any newer version from here.

remove existing icons (might require logoff/logon).
Wrong. It is still there as can be seen in the attached pic.

There is no way to stop it from adding itself to the open with list. This is necessary for the jump list feature to work.
You can restrict the extensions by editing the valid.ext file, this will however also remove these extensions from the open rom dialog.

Hi, this issue also got me on my nerve.
So I edited the latest testbuild "quick and dirty" way to nullify the registry entry strings.
And... I got the snes9x version without the association issue.
Anyone welcomed to try.

The diff also enclosed inside "delta" folder.

Thanks.
