Weird symbol in lower right side when in full screen?

When I uncheck "Emulate full screen" in order to have the game launch in full screen, there's a weird symbol in the lower right.

How do I get rid of this?

Note if I check emulate full screen and simply alt+enter, the symbol is gone, but the program will not launch in full screen.

Please help.

Looks like nvidia shadowplay - you'll have to disable this in the geforce experience app.
