Keyboard on osX

Post by francesca »

Hi there,
for some reason I seem unable to use Snes9x on my laptop.

Although I have changed all settings, and put them back to default, and changed them again, my 'right movement' key never works, regardless of the physical key I actually set. My characters can only go left (although, especially in super mario, if I jump and go right then it does move).

Anyone here able to help me?

cheers.

Your keyboard may limit the amount of keys you can use at one time. Have you tried using a Joystick or Gamepad that you connect to your computer via USB, or even a separate keyboard you can attach via USB?

Also, what version of Snes9x are you using, and is the ROM info text that appears at the bottom of the screen White when you start up the game?

These suggestions are usually the solution to your issue!

I'm not sure what happens, but you may try to use Configure Controllers dialog; it may recognize your on-board keyboard.
