Is SNES9x still supported for mac users?

Post by patddfan »

The other day, it occurred to me that Rosetta is no longer supported as of OS Lion (10.7), and as far as I can tell, the only emulator that would no longer work if I upgraded is SNES9x. I am running SNES9x 1.43 (Oct 28, 2005), but since it requires Rosetta to work, it only works with Macs running 10.6 or lower. So, has SNES9x been discontinued for mac, or is there an updated version that is written for intel macs? thanks!

then why is it that all of the emulation sites dedicated to mac still list the version from 2005?

Because they haven't updated. Get 1.53 from here instead.
