Disabling 'Maintain Aspect Ratio'

I want to uncheck the maintain aspect ratio option but it's greyed out. How can I disable it? Thanks.

need some more info.
what version of snes9x? what platform (eg windows)?
which "Maintain Aspect Ration" option - the one in the Video menu, or the one in the Display Settings dialog?

They are both greyed out, unable to change them.

Using Snes9X 1.53 64 bit.

You need to enable "Strecht Image" before you can disable "Maintain Aspect Ratio".

Stretch Image was selected in the Display Configuration window, but not on the video drop down menu, strange. I smell a bug! But I fixed it anyways, thanks.
