Snes9x on iPad Forgets All Settings on Exit

I have been using Snes9x on my iPad 1 (ver 1.4.2-armv7) and it works wonderfully, but every time I return to the app after exiting, all of the options have been reset to their defaults. Having to redo my video settings and rebind all of my controls every time I launch the app is a pain. Is this a known issue or is it only happening for me?

Make sure your /User/Documents folder has write permissions enabled so the config file can save properly.

I have this same issue...unfortunately I enabled write permissions on the config file. I also tried deleting the config file...neither seemed to work.

Any advice?
