Customize Hotkeys not working with Gamepad

I have set "Handler:Joystick = ON", and it doesn't work...
I have also tried "Handler:Background = ON"
Please Help

If I set to a Keyboard Hotkey, it works fine

how many gamepads do you have connected? did you manually add the entery for Fast Forward into the config file, or through the UI?

I only have 1 Gamepad, and set the Hotkey through UI.
I also tried other Hotkey (Save/Load...), also doesn't work

I use the Gamepad for Game Controller working fine.

I'm gonna bump this and "confirm" the issue.
I'm facing the same problem. I got several gamepads but only one is connected at a time. I also removed my X360 wireless reciever before plugging in the PS-to-USB-Adapter but to no avail.
No matter to which button I map the hotkey, it doesn't work.

Oh, it also doesn't matter, what controller I use. Everything that's not my keyboard doesn't work.
