So, I use a Smartjoy and Capcom Street Fighter 15 Anniversary edition fighter pad, and it works perfectly on my Linux computer, with Zsnes (Because Snes9x runs slowly on my Linux computer), but when I'm on my dad's mac, Snes9x won't allow me to configure it. I've been trying for hours, but it just won't work, and I'm not fond of playing intense platformers with carpal tunnel (a keyboard). It sucked playing through MMX like that, so I'm not looking forward to Super Metroid... Anyway, what do I do to resolve this? The version of Snes9x I have is 1.43, and my dad's computer is a Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard PowerPC eMac.

It doesn't look like it'll work either... I'll try messing around with it some more and see if I can get it to recognize my controller. Thanks, though.

The first thing to check is, will other programs recognize the controller?
