Battle Blaze is one of those games that has not worked quite right for years. The introduction screen (with flames swaying in the background) is glitchy, even using SNES9x 1.52.

Could we see a screenshot? You know the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words"...

What operating system are you using? 32 or 64bit? Version of Snes9x? Is the text at the bottom of the window white when you load the game?
These suggestions are usually the solution to your issue!

Really, the glitch is better seen in action rather than from a static screenshot. When you first load up the game, the glitch is pretty obvious.

Ah, ok. Thanks for that. Unfortunately, I'm not one of the programmers around here, you should ask OV2, zones, or BearOSO.

The game requires very accurate timings that snes9x cannot handle well.

It doesn't really matter much anyways, the game is so bad that I doubt anyone would play it.
